Anne-Marie Duff has been an English actress, narrator and writer for the past 30 years. Duff was a TV character as a narrator and actress in Trial & Retribution Amongst Women and Aristocrats during the 90s. Her first fame was as Fiona Gallagher during the UK's Shameless series. The Virgin Queen (2006), she played Queen Elizabeth II. In 2015, the From Darkness From Darkness featured her as the leading role. Duff has had roles in films such as Enigma (2001) The Magdalene Sisters Notes from a Scandal (2006) French Film (2008) The Last Station and Nowhere Boy Before I Go to Sleep (2014) as well as Suffragette (2015). The roles she played on the screen in Shameless and The Virgin Queen Nowhere Boy and Suffragette have earned the BAFTA nominations for categories like the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress categories and she was given the BAFTA Cymru Award for Best Actress for her work in the 2007 television film The History of Mr Polly. Anne-Marie Duff excels as an English award-winning actress. Her professional career has included performances on radio, television and theater in equal measure.
